A Budding Interest

Hi, I’m Karsen and I’m so glad you’re here!

I have recently been working on adjusting my thinking to look for and notice the little moments of joy in each day. Through this process, I have been wanting to start a new creative endeavor to help document these moments. I have often been intrigued by blogging and, while brainstorming ideas, it stuck out as the best option to not only help with documenting the positives, but also connecting with others by sharing what I love. I always appreciated blogs and the information people are so willing to share, such as travel guides or their families loved recipes, and I am excited to contribute my own!

My goal with this blog is to create a little corner of the internet where I can gather the small, beautiful pieces of everyday life. The things that often get overlooked but can mean the most, the warm moments: a delicious meal prepared for loved ones, abundant plants growing in the garden, a cozy evening with a good book, and the simple joys that make up a life.

I’ve always loved gardening, photography, design, home projects, cooking and baking, telling stories, and traveling. Lately, I’ve begun to realize that these little joys tell the story of a life just as much as the big milestones do. So instead of keeping them tucked away, I wanted to create a space to share them.
